Robin A. Boone ~Artist Biography~ September 2005 Robin A. Boone went to college for art in New Hampshire and headed west in quick fashion after graduating, fulfilling a lifelong dream to live in the Rocky Mountains. Since then she has been working with Smyth developing her skills as a designer for Boone Wrought Iron, dabbled in varied artistic projects, taught art classes and has been raising her two daughters, Cassidy and Marley. Robins most recent art showings have been at Planet Earth and the Four Directions Gallery, Hunter Gatherer Gallery, The Carbondale Center for the Arts and The Blue Sage Center for the Arts. Her metal sculpture and designs have been featured in the 1998 ABANA Conference Gallery, the California Artists Blacksmiths 25th Anniversary Conference Gallery and the Rocky Mountain Smiths Conference Gallery. Robin has been interviewed for the Anvils Ring, and the book A Heritage in Iron by Rafael Routson. Her design lectures include California Artists Blacksmithing Conference and the Canadian international blacksmithing conference, CANIRON. Robin works in her studio in downtown Paonia, Colorado. A painter and sculptor of Goddess imagery and socially conscious subjects, her goal is to raise awareness through her artistic expression, assisting in bringing balance to the world. She also works at the local community radio station, KVNF, as the Special Projects Coordinator.
